I. Specifications & Materials
Aluminum collapsible tube is most suitable for filling semi-solid material, including a variety of daily chemicals that can be found in households. Adhesive, sealant, resin, ointment, paste, lotion, cream and gel, just to name a few. The tube is collapsible, effectively separating contents from air, moisture and contaminants. Therefore, it is considered a better protection of highly perishable contents. Pure aluminum tube can be recycled and is friendly to the environment in comparison to plastic tube. Further, the tube is damage-proof, which means it is not to be reused or refilled.

Xinyi’s standard tube diameters include: φ10 mm, φ11.5 mm, φ12.5 mm, φ13.5 mm, φ16 mm, φ19 mm, φ22 mm, φ25 mm, φ28 mm, φ30 mm, φ32 mm, φ35 mm, φ38 mm, and φ40 mm. Filling capacity ranges from 2 ml to about 200 ml. Tube length, cap type, and opening style can be customized.
Yes. Aluminum tubes can be made as nozzle tubes or fine-tip tubes for precise dispensing. They are commonly used for glue, lubricants, repair paste, and similar products.

II. Applications & Industries
Xinyi manufactures aluminum collapsible tubes for clients who use them for packaging adhesive glue, cosmetics, health care, paints & inks and also grease lubricant products. These tubes offer good barrier performance, air-tightness, and squeezability, making them suitable for viscous pastes, gels, creams, adhesive, sealant, and similar products.
Cosmetic aluminum tube packaging is commonly used for hand cream, facial cream, hair dye, cosmeceutical creams, and functional skincare products. It helps reduce air contact and gives the product a premium look.
Aluminum glue tubes provide good barrier protection, light shielding, and controlled dispensing. They are suitable for instant glue, sealants, repair adhesives, and other industrial adhesives.
For volatile, solvent-based, or easy-curing adhesives, inner coating compatibility and tube-end sealing strength should be confirmed. For moisture-curing silicone, tubes with internal lacquer coating and latex lining are required.
Aluminum toothpaste tubes offer stronger barrier protection, better light shielding, and collapsible squeezing. They are suitable for some traditional toothpaste, medicated toothpaste, and special paste products.
Compared with plastic tubes, aluminum tubes have a metallic look and do not rebound after squeezing. They are also 100% recyclable.
III. Customization & Printing
Yes. Aluminum collapsible tubes can be customized with logos, text, colors, and graphics for cosmetic tubes, glue tubes, and toothpaste tubes. Xinyi offers offset printing, matte finish, glossy varnish, hot stamping, and other surface treatments.
Once you have decided on the tube size, we would provide you with a template (in PDF file) that shows the dimensions of tube. You could have someone work on the graphic design and make the layout according to the dimensions. Finally, an AI file with all fonts converted to vector format is what we need for proofing and/or production.
Buyers usually need to provide capacity, size, cap type, artwork, product properties, and filling method. Samples or drawings can speed up sampling. If you are not sure about specifications, Xinyi can recommend a suitable solution and provide layout support.
Aluminum tubes can be matched with various screw caps, including Fez caps with piercer, nozzle caps, octagonal (mushroom) caps, flip-top caps, caps with sanitary on-sert nozzle, and tamper-evident caps.
Cap selection should consider dispensing accuracy, leakage prevention, and user experience.
Yes. Free samples are available with freight collect. We use door-to-door shipping by UPS, FedEx or DHL. If you would like to have CUSTOMIZED samples with your logo printed on tube, we can make them for you. You pay for the proofing cost in addition to air freight.
IV. Production & Orders
MOQ depends on size, printing, surface treatment, and tooling requirements.
Xinyi’s MOQ is:
- Closed-end tubes: 10,000 pcs per variant
- Open-end tubes: 20,000 pcs per variant
Special caps or special color printing may require a higher MOQ.
Production usually includes design confirmation, sampling, tube production, inspection, packing, and shipment.
For Xinyi aluminum tubes, sampling takes 3–7 working days. Mass production takes 14-21 days. Actual lead time depends on order quantity, process complexity, and material schedule.
Please provide tube diameter, tube length, quantity, printing requirements, cap type, opening type, inner coating, and latex lining requirements.
Shipping cost is quoted separately based on the delivery address. More complete information helps provide a more accurate quotation.

V. Quality & Support
Quality inspection would be carried out by QC department at each step of production. In addition to client’s specific requirements, all tubes are to be evaluated based on the following criteria.
*The coating on tube surface should be glossy and smooth, containing no impurities.
*The coating on tube surface should be of even thickness.
*The color of coating on tube surface should match the corresponding Pantone or approved prototype.
*The inner wall of tube should be clean without tainted ink or dust.
*The color of print should match the corresponding Pantone or approved prototype.
*The print should be without defects.
*There should be no faded colors in print after baking.
*The printed contents should be identical to the approved prototype.
Air-tightness is achieved through internal lacquer coating, tube-end latex lining, and proper cap matching.
The tube body should have good density and no leakage. Quality can refer to YBB00162002-2015, the National standard for aluminum medicinal ointment tubes in China. Air pressure testing can be conducted to check leakage and barrier performance.
For volatile or highly permeable contents, compatibility testing and transport simulation testing are recommended.
We pack tubes carefully to prevent them from dust and dent. Finished tubes of 13.5mm or smaller sizes are packed in single layer inner box and then in corrugated master carton. Larger tubes are packed in corrugated boxes with or without partitions and then in master carton.
